About me

Hi and welcome to my blog,

My name is Suad.  Born in Chad, raised in Niger, I moved to Switzerland when I was 16.  I’m half Chadian and half British  and I’ve spent most of my life travelling the world.

I’ve been lucky to move around and live in different countries and continents: Chad, Niger, Cameroon, India, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, South Africa, Nepal, Benin, Dubai, The Netherlands, France, Angola, Ivory Coast… All this is reflected in my cuisine which I consider a fusion, a melting pot of all these different flavours and tastes.

Foodie, cookbook addict,  magazine collector, yoga and craft lover, I am also health conscious and believe in eating healthy food that tastes great.  My recipes are easy to follow, simple, usually from scratch and full of flavours and spices. Some are invented, others are adapted to suit my family’s taste buds. I really hope you enjoy trying them and I would really love to hear from you if you do.

To keep in touch with me, you can either subscribe to the newsletter or join me on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.

For any queries, comments or suggestions, feel free to contact me directly via the contact forms at the end of each posts.

Hope to hear from you and until then, follow me in my kitchen!
